The living facade system creates a whole new nature-based space for the benefit of increasing biodiversity in urban environments. The plant concept can be designed to accommodate insects and wildlife via blossoming growths throughout the entire growth season, which supports the pollinating insects, as well as bushy evergreens, which supports the smaller birds.
The integrable system contributes via the plant material to reduce noise and pollution from the city, while also absorbing CO2 from the air. At the same time, it adds a green, living, natural element in the cityscape, which positively affects the mental health and well-being of residents in the area.
BGreen-it Vertical is made from natural materials, specifically designed to contain Co2 and support plant growth. Rainwater from the roof can be added to the facade’s irrigation system. Thereby recreating natural conditions, but in a vertical garden.
